Where we ship from
Every order ships from our workshop in Kumamoto, Japan. We hand-pack each piece and hand it to the carrier within 2 business days of your order.
Delivery times
- United States: 5–8 business days (DHL Express or Japan Post EMS)
- Canada: 6–10 business days
- United Kingdom & EU: 5–9 business days
- Australia / New Zealand: 5–8 business days
- Japan (domestic): 1–3 business days (Yamato / Sagawa)
Shipping cost
Calculated at checkout based on weight and destination. Orders over $150 (USD) ship free to the US, Canada, UK, EU, AU, and NZ.
Customs & duties
International orders may be subject to import duties or taxes set by your country's customs authority. These are not included in the product price or shipping fee and are the buyer's responsibility. If you'd like an estimate before ordering, please contact us.
Tracking
A tracking number is emailed as soon as your parcel is collected. If you don't receive one within 3 business days of ordering, please write to hello@tatamino.net.
Returns
30-day return window
If a piece isn't right for your table, send it back within 30 days of delivery for a full refund of the product price. The item must be unused and in its original packaging. Return shipping is the buyer's responsibility, except where we've made an error or shipped a damaged piece — in which case, we pay.
Damaged in transit
Email us a photo within 7 days of delivery and we'll arrange a replacement or refund right away. No long forms.
Free repairs — for life
If a piece wears, unravels at the edge, or breaks, send it back and we'll repair it. You cover the shipping to Kumamoto; we cover the repair and the return trip. This applies to everything in the shop, indefinitely.
